- CADET - the CAD Text Editor v4.03
- Copyright 1990, 1991, 1992 Steve Waskow
- Wasco Technical Software
-
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- VERSION 4.03 (November 29, 1992)
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Bug fix, spell checker picking up too many suggested words and
- overflowing stack.
-
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- VERSION 4.02 (November 15, 1992)
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Added a user configurable default for the word wrap column
- width, set by CADETIN. Additional path checking is performed to
- avoid "transfer file not found" errors when CADET environmental
- variable is not used. Cadet now skips (and eliminates) any
- troublesome TEXT entities which consist of a sole carriage
- return. Further checks are added to avoid problems relating to
- changes of video modes. The top line of edited notes and tables
- no longer seemingly "disappears" on certain display list driver
- systems -- eliminating the need to regen or "clean" the display
- list to bring it back on the display. Added an otherwise
- undocumented feature(?) to eliminate confirmation prompts when
- inserting or deleting lines in "MIXED" editing mode. This is
- NOT RECOMMENDED because you can really mess a drawing up by
- accidentally shuffling text entities up or down, but the more
- adventuresome users can eliminate the confirmation by adding a
- new parameter line to the bottom of the CADET.CFG file: /X
-
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- VERSION 4.01 (August 30, 1992)
- ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
- Minor changes to prevent CADET from making video modes changes
- unless specifically configured to do so. Allows more peaceful
- coexistence with protected mode (P386) display list processors.
